BRANDING DESIGN

Ascend is the largest global network for advancing Pan-Asian professionals in the workplace. Their mission to build community and ignite change by developing, elevating, and empowering the API leaders of tomorrow. In the beginning of 2023, they decided to rebrand their entire organization. As a Senior Designer, I worked very closely with the Head of Marketing to help create rebranded marketing assets like redesigning sub brand logos to presentation deck designs to designing events across 60+ chapters following their new brand guidelines.

Every year, Ascend has three large in-person events for API professionals: Ascend Pinnacle, A-List Awards and Convention. In 2024, we took the new branding we created in 2023 to apply it to these three large scale events.

For the Pinnacle event in New York City, we created a themed lockup using the brand fonts: Playfair and Nunito with a blue to tangerine gradient. We applied the branding across meterboard and step and repeat signs.
